Ever since I entered high school I had been ardent hater of chemistry. Ik that sounds crude but that’s EXACTLY HOW IT WAS! The way we were taught worsened the whole situation. I found this site last year. Third year of high school and when the shit really starts winding up. And now I am finally understanding things I never did before. I can’t explain in words how much I absolutely love your explanations. Brief, to the point and having exactly the substance it needs to.
Thank you soooooo much. You’re a life saver.

Thanks for the brief and adequate knowledge about the topics of O Chem. Thanks a lot again and again.

Your entire pyramid is what is covered on my first test, and it’s week 5!

You make it very clear what is expected of us as students to succeed in this course which is something I cannot say to many of the professors that I have come into contact with throughout my college experience! Thank you for taking the time to put this together I really appreciate it.

Level 1 was skipped for us under the assumption you learned it in gen chem. So, our level 1 was like level 2 + nomenclature.
Spectroscopy was included to some degree with the level 3 material which is otherwise pretty spot on.
Level 4. My minor struggles began with stereo-chemistry, but not enough to make me drop the course (I still had an A, albeit a low one).
Level 5 contained what you described and is when my stress level went through the roof. I began to feel it was coming at me too fast to master. I would understand the material in lectures and when I read the text; but apparently did not understand it deeply enough or memorize enough to apply to the vast variety of potential situations that exist and got my first low exam score:(
Level 6 does include alcohols, ethers, epoxides, and grignards for us- and that’s a lot!
Wish me luck because I’m on level 6 now. I’m using your site like crazy!
