Alright, so we've had a chance to process everything that we've seen from Xbox over the past few days, and we've seen a lot! Then, you've got things like the announcement of the Hideo Kojima partnership, which had been rumoured for such a long time, Persona finally joining the Xbox family, Hollow Knight: Silksong appearing out of nowhere, and much more.
Don't forget the Extended showcase this past Tuesday either, which gave us the announcements of Valheim and The Texas Chain Saw Massacre for Xbox Game Pass, along with some deep dives on lots of exciting games.

Persona was the nicest surprise. Loved the Hot Wheels DLC and Starfield. But even though I prefer Horizon over the regular Forza, I was blown away by what I saw of the new FM to the point where I have to say it was my favorite part.
Agree with awp. Persona was the nicest surprise, although the Riot games coming to console was a nice one too.
Persona is the most notable announcement for sure but it was nice to see new games gameplay. Remember that Persona totally skipped Xbox until now, similar to how Dragon Quest skipped Xbox until recently. Persona 5 Royal and Dragon Quest XI are two of the most critically acclaimed RPGs ever.
Quite a few - FM gameplay and release date, FH5 DLC look, High on Life, Starfield and Pentiment - plus the Persona announcement
Starfield. That's the only game I'll be buying next year.
For me, High on Life was easily the biggest reveal. It looks awesome. I can’t wait to play it.
Persona was the biggest bombshell. Persona actually goes to Gamepass!? That was the one moment where I got actually excited in the presentation. I’m honestly looking forward to playing P4 again. I don’t know why. Usually I don’t want to play PS2 games in this era, but P4 has a style to it that makes me so nostalgic.
I want to say the Kojima announcement had me most excited, but the Kojima announcement was just a confirmation… Considering that other leaks are spouting, just give us the truth!
Starfield though, that’s the game that I’m actually 100% going to play. Looking forward to it. That game is why I’m on the Series, after all!… (well, I did get it to play Halo Infinite too!).
Silksong by far. of all the places I expected it, this wasn’t it. Wish there was a date but that’s fine, I get to save a bit of money with it being on game pass 👍
Cacoon, pentiment, and that lovecraftian/detective game looked interesting. I’ll probably check them all out unless the internet throws any of them a red flag or two.
I like Hideo Kojima games but I’m not going to get excited of what they showed, which was nothing. Would like it too be a horror but I’m open minded. The whole ‘power of the cloud’ thing has me worried though.
Starfield looked more or less what I expected. Not sure if that was a good thing. Need to see more.
Awesome to see Persona finally arriving on Xbox, hope you all enjoy those.
And finally Valhiem I’ll have to check out. Heard too many good things about it not too.
High on life kicked the ass of everything else at the show. A lot of good stuff shown overall but that's my game of the show.
I didn't have a single one.
Don't care about the weeb stuff so Persona did nothing for me. Redfall looked generic, Starfield looks rough but very ambitious, Pentiment was disappointing (was hoping a better art style) and the middle part of the showcase was dreadful.
Having said that. I'm interested in Starfield, Hollow Knight Silk Song. Those 2 have GOTY potential.
Kojima announcement was cool too.
@Dusk_Actual I think they are all PC and mobile cloud no? I don't think you'll be able to play LoL on Xbox right?
High On Life, totally unexpected and nothing else quite matched up for me.
I mainly watched the show for xbox exclusives as that's what my series s is purely for whilst everything else I play on ps5, so apart from starfield and redfall there wasn't a lot on show for me so I'd say my favourite part was the starfield reveal
Forza Motorsport was the most exciting part of the entire thing for me personally. I will play and enjoy Starfield too but I will put more hours into Motorsport.
Tough choice between the persona reveal and Diablo 4. Glad to see Japanese games finally coming to Xbox this potentially opens the door for more developers to release on Xbox.
I was hoping for the last class and gameolay from D4 and that's what I got. And it already was one of my most anticipated games. Spent so much time in d2 and d3 already and the good thing is, crossplay! So can finally play from my Xbox with my wife who plays on pc.
Plague Tale 2 - and I haven’t even played the first one yet.
New leaks (which seem very credible given the leaker has apparently been extremely accurate so far) suggest we will hear a FF7 Remake announcement for Xbox tonight - which as a huge FF7 fan, will make my week complete after Xbox's superb event.
@Kaloudz I so hope it's true that leak. After persona 5 also ff7r being announced in the same week would be huge. That would boost the sales in Japan which could mean more Japanese games to Xbox, which would be amazing. That way more and mroe Japanese developers will put their games on Xbox which will lead to more sales in Japan and so on. That would give me more and more a choice of choosing where to play those games
Hot Wheels DLC for sure, the expansion itself looks fantastic and I'm also really looking forward to what the community is able to create.
I almost went with Pentiment. I’m uniquely excited for that. But I stuck with Starfield.
I sincerely thought Diablo 4 would smash this poll. I only recently discovered Diablo 3. Incredibly fun, especially with friends. Great showcase overall though and it was good to finally see Starfield.
@emj2010 It's an underplayed gem!
@Lavalera Wouldn't it just? I assumed that FF7R would have been something that MS would have wanted to have announced but here's to hoping that's wrong. Is it too bold to hope that it's another SE game pass addition if true? With you 110%, it would be incredible for Xbox and Japanese games and developers on the whole! We will soon find out. It's a short one too ain't it?
@TJ81 IKR? I came in at Diablo 3 and it introduced me to hack and slash formula. Can't wait for the sequel. I love how social it looks!
@Lavalera -_- That hurt
Redfall without a doubt. Cannot wait to make my friends play through that with me!
@Krzzystuff I think it’s gonna be the mobile version of LoL, Wild Rift.
I really hope they come to console Game Pass, as I really can’t afford a gaming rig
Silksong for sure
@Kaloudz Yeah it sucks. Couldn't watch it live so just woke up to this news. If it would have come it would be such a huge deal for Xbox and Japanese games. I own it for a while on my ps5 already, just have play it stil haha, but mainly for getting the Japanese games over i would love to see it on Xbox. But it's starting to look more an more that aint gonna happen
@Lavalera I know right? Would have been a huge win that's for sure. I think at this point, the only time we will see it is when the trilogy is complete. Seems a bit daft that we get Crisis Core, a part of the overarching story, and not the meat of the matter...
I watched it live. Sat up like a meerkat when I saw the gameplay, and then sank back down like a sloth when I saw "Steam" lol. Ah well...
@Kaloudz Yeah crisis core was probably a whole separate deal from the ff7r deal Sony and Square made for exclusivity. But oh well at least i have all systems so i can play all the games, so nothing to complain but yeah, all the exclusivity is sometimes confusing if a game will or will not ever come to a certain system.
@Lavalera Isn't that the truth! I suppose it's hard in this day and age for third party developers to completely state that something is rock solid exclusive, given how things can change down the road, but it sure would be nice to have that clarity. Ah well, here's to hoping :/ CC and that mobile game will have to do for now haha
Would have been Silksong but the cowards didn’t give us a date 😂
Starfield was both mighty impressive and slightly disappointing at the same time. Skyrim in space will be excellent but as Bethesda’s first new IP in 25 years many of us were hoping for a little more innovation. It’s an evolution not a revolution. Still hyped.
High on life, Benedict Fox, Cocoon, Ereban, Wo Long were all genuine surprises and looked great.
But the biggest moment for me was that everything shown was planned to come in the next 12 months and the vast majority of it at no extra cost on Game Pass. Brilliant way to answer all the critics and Ridiculously good value.
Im definately on the fence with starfield, hoping for the best, but a little concerned it wont deliver.
There was lots to enjoy and look foward too, and a genuine highlight was seeing the tech unvieled for forza motorsport, which could be top of the genre with another year of polish.
Im actually really looking foward to a console version of valheim, so I was made up to see that coming to my xbox soon.
I do have a pc, but I prefer to play on consoles, so a chance to explore this game on the series x is really welcome.
Also glad to see xbox get persona games too, they are so quirky, but ultimately really good titles in their genre. This only wasnt my top because I play ps too, so ive already had that pleasure! Delighted that xbox players get the chance too.
Had PushSquare not spoiled the Persona 3|4|5 announcement, that would had been my highlight. As ir is it just ended up being a confirmation of something I saw earlier that day. I might start keeping my distance from the site as big reveal dates approach in the future.
As it stands, I was pleasantly surprised by High on Life and would call that the highlight of the game for me. Starfield was good and all, great even, but nothing in that trailer surprised me and nothing was beyond what I was expecting from the game. Day one play for me, but I already knew it would be.
I was honestly a little underwhelmed overall, but Minecraft Legends, Starfield, and Silksong are all promising.
And I'm hoping to check out Valheim and Redfall with my buds. Good co-op experiences are the main reason I have an Xbox 😂
