Robocop: Rogue City launched last week as an actual current-gen only game - partly down to it being built on Epic's latest Unreal Engine 5 technology. Despite being somewhat rudimentary in nature, UE5's Rogue City seems to be pushing the consoles quite a bit - and Xbox Series X is handling it quite well.

As you can see up above, YouTube channel 'Open Surprise' has posted an early look at the game across Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PS5. While Series S has just the one 30FPS mode (a mode where all three consoles perform well), Series X and PS5 also contain a performance mode - and Xbox has a big advantage here.

Microsoft's top-of-the-line console seems to stick quite closely to 60FPS - which is nice to see in an Unreal Engine 5 title! PS5 dips a fair bit lower in most of the scenes shown off here, although there's every chance developer Teyon will address this and bring the two versions closer together in future.

Anyway, we're most impressed with how Xbox Series X stacks up - and it's nice to see a solid, consistent frame rate over on Series S too. If you want to read up on our thoughts of the game itself, we'll drop our full written review down below.
